You say that life is what you make of it

You say you don’t want to hurt me

Its no one’s intentions to get hurt or to be the one doing the hurting

Let’s finish it all to not suffer at all

Take away your smile and words that made me feel special

You prefer to leave before you break my heart

Should have considered it before you lowered my defenses that were weak and brittle from the acts of generosity

You didn’t want to hurt me you wanted to fool me

Say your a good guy but I’m holding onto an image of someone who you are not

Take away this coldness and let myself light up on my own
